Use different portals can easily get your message across. Using a portal to distribute information would not be enough. So, besides the distribution of articles to directories, and I would recommend to blogging and forum posting.

Do not forget to fill your website with useful information on a regular basis. It is important that people will see it as a great source of answers and solutions to their problems and questions, so you'll be back more often. This will help in getting them to sign up to your newsletter later. As you know, this is the key to building relationships with them and convince them to do business with you in the future.
